National Science Learning Centre
The National Science Learning Centre opened in Autumn 2005. Housed in a purpose built, high-tech venue at the University of York, the centre provides professional development for science teachers and technicians across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It also performs a supportive role for the communications and ICT infrastructure for the Science Learning Centres network. The aim of the centre is to upgrade the quality of professional development on offer to teachers, technicians and support staff.

NYBEP (Business and Education Partnership for York and North Yorkshire)

YorkSt John University
Founded in 1841, York St John University has a long and proud tradition as a distinguished education provider. The University has around 6,000 students studying on a range of courses in faculties of Arts, Health and Life Sciences, Education and Theology, and the York St John Business School.
